Lead donors to the Rice United Way campaign invest in the improvement of our community with contributions of $1,000 or more (around $40 per paycheck when split over an entire fiscal year by signing up for automatic payroll deductions at io.rice.edu). This year, this elite group of Rice leaders contributed more than 65 percent of our campus campaign total, and helped Rice earn a spot as one of the 35 most generous institutional donors in all of Greater Houston.
Lead donors are eligible for membership in any of several United Way giving societies, each of which has its own specific member benefits (please see below).
